Townhouses with dated design guidelines are typically monotonous and boring. This renovation was an exercise to work around the stipulations without compromising form and function.

The facade is divided into 2 components that align to adjacent units to retain visual consistency. The second floor uses an operable shutter that addresses the afternoon sun while being a distinct feature that allows it to break away from monotony.
